For 5 years running I have a letter saying I need to provide form 5405(?) to the IRS. Everything else works fine.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I took the advice about itemized deductions and bundled them into one year, but HRBlock software would not allow the large deduction due to my low income level. Evidently, the ratio was too high. So I switched to turbo tax and was able to do it without any problem.
I have also not used HRBlock when I have a 1099 retirement form, as it has in the past counted that income as completely non-taxable, which the irs did not agree with.
