Something in the interview process re: Required Minimum Distribution pushed me into form 5329. All of my research indicated I shouldn’t need the form. A call to H&R support couldn’t answer what happened. We did resolve the issue by deleting the form.
Issue #2
For the last 4 filings, H&R software offers an import feature for 1099INT’s. Software indicates I need a 24 digit ID number to perform the download. The number is nowhere on the 1099 as software indicates. H&R support has no answer. My bank has no answer. Even the IRS knows nothing. I don’t understand why this can’t be resolved within the last 4 now 5 filings.

Very happy to be able to use H&R Block tax software this year while still running Windows 10 on my 15 year old HP computer. THE software downloaded easily and worked effectively. Easily prepared and filed both my federal and state returns. Will definitely choose H&R Block tax software again next year.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
