I’ve been using this software for years. It’s static and fine for simple returns but doesn’t lend its self to various scenarios (-filing jointly v separate…).

Issues with undoing or going back & changing selec

I had issues when trying to determine if a scenario applied in many cases related to business or new deductions. When you go forward and make selections & determine they don't apply or are running a future scenario, you can't undo then & this leads to errors on checking. There needs to be a clear scenario button for the current page you are working on. I'd hate to redo my taxes more than once.

Overall, I am happy with the software. However, it would be nice if...
1) It identified downloaded 1099s as duplicates. This happens if not all forms are available the first time you download. When you re-download you get a duplicate.
2) There was a single page where you could review all the forms you entered. Maybe even allow entry on that page and let the software put them into the interview pages.
