I've used the desktop version for many years. Now I tried the online versions of both H&R and TurboTax because they have better audit warranty but gave up because they are not as informative as the desktop version. With the desktop version I learn about tax law and I can use that knowledge to better prepare for next year.
Pros: Easy to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

And, I have been using the Software for many years.and pleased with as It is very user friendly with great Quality Control. tried to import items but could not called to get help was put on hold and no one every came on to help me as new to H&R things did not go as smooth as i would have liked. i got taxes done and they were accepted

Had to update repeatedly and final product finally available in March 2026. Could not submit tax return prior due to inaccurate/incomplete forms in software. User interface more confusing this year compared with many years of prior use.
