Have been getting your software for years. Nothing much has improved. The integrated AI is a flop most of the time. The UX is as bad as it has always been. Since I've used it so much, I'm familiar with it and continue to use it with hopes that it will improve.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Help is very limited: No way to get answers from real person while the AI assistant is useless. You needs to go through Q&As to figure out yourself

Very easy to use, good pre-submission checks and a quick submission that IRS accepts.
I like that is preloads prior year info.
It matches my own Excel calculations.

I am gone 3 months from my home so I purchased a downloadable version. I did finally complete my taxes and got my retuns, but I tried to get help through the "chat' button and only received canned responses that do not help me. I may go back to Turbotax since I have used that in the past. I only used the H&R version because I thought I could download my last year's return that was done in person.
