Decent software for tax prep but needs refinement

Decent software, gets the job done. However, it is not super user-friendly or intuitive. I've used it for several years and it's worked fine since I have the hang of it but could use some improvements to make the tax prep process smoother.

I could not file my friend's return as promised (5 returns could be filed buying software version) since she had a TIN number but no social security number. May possibly go back to Turbo Tax

I have used H&R Block software for several years now. I am self-employed, so have to file a schedule C and my husband gets a 1099, and we both have income from a different state than the one in which we live, so we can't do the easy return. I always find that the software leads me through the proper questions to complete the return easily. It makes filing easy and record keeping simple.
