I have been using the H&R Block tax preparation programs for years and they really make things so much easier than hiring a tax preparation service or doing my taxes manually. I was able to upload most of the various forms from work, insurance, and investment management direct from the sources, which saved a lot of entry time. This year I started and finished it all in one evening.

I have used this for years. It is pretty easy to use. It is confusing at times. I think the audit review process was a little frustrating. I answered the questions, but the concerns kept flagging. I did not know if I was putting in the correct information.

I have been using HRB for about 20 years (well before it was called HRB). The 2025 program was significantly flawed. The inability to import Merrill Lynch 1099's without notification is a complete failure. I would have returned it if I hadn't bought it months before. Also, the state support is superficial and the AI is completely useless

I bought this as a result of Turbo Tax changes. As with any new software there is a learning curve where H&R tax software is no different. The help support for IRS and explanation are lacking but gets the job done.
