Federal program was excellent. State program did not work well for my situation. In Alabama there are several types of federal income that can be excluded from state income. The state program does a poor job of dealing with that.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

I have used this software for at least 5 years. I am very happy with it. you are able to download previous years tax return information and it fills in useful infromation like name. address. ss#. name of banks and institutions that you had income in the previous year. you can also downlod your investment information if your investment firm is on the download list. these features save a lot of time in preparing your return. it also does an audit at the end of your return and gives you a list of items that you should correct before you file. once you are finished with your federal return your can automaticaly thansfer infomation into your state return and complete your state return can also e file you ferderal and state return.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
