I have been pleased with your product. I am a self-employed retired person. One difficulty for me is including the Social Security amounts in coverage for my retirement. The way the set works I seem to do that improperly or your product does not sufficiently alert me to do this correctly. And of course this affects my Social Security benefits.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I switched laptops this year and was unable to upload last years electronic filing. Since I did an electronic Federal filing I thought the software would go in the cloud and download that to make filing this year easier. But I was unable, so I was disappointed in H&R software.

The state of New Jersey withheld my refund because on inspection they could not reconcile my W2 wages with my tax return. They asserted that box 11 "income" reported on the W2 should be reported on NJ-line 15 WAGES. TAX CUT put the income on NJ-line 26 OTHER. While tax was correct (income is income), it took almost a year for me to get through convincing NJ Division of Taxation I paid the correct tax. Note others I retired with that had NON-QUALIFIED Income reported annually on a W2 as box 11, had their taxes reported the same way and were not challenged. H&R Block needs to reconcile this with New Jersey. I had to manually adjust my 2025 tax return to meet with the NJ Div of Taxation requirements for box 11 income. The income is from two source - non-qualified pension component and payout from a deffered compensation plan.
Cons: Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!
