Please review and fix the error in form 8962: I believe IRS instructions for 8962 form is if the 12 month values in 1095-A are not the same then 8962 cannot use line 11, it has to use line 12 to 23 but H&R software still use line 11 in this case and it flags IRS to reject the on-line submissiion
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

Didn't import previous years rental properties including my depreciation which was a headache. It would also be nice if the interview showed what was completed when looking so that it would be easy to edit at a glance.
Pros: Maximizes refund

I understand it’s a huge undertaking to cover everything but I had trouble with the help. Some things were not covered good enough. With that being said, I would and have recommended this tax software. I will also buy it again just like I have for the last 15 years.

Reasonable behavior for the price. However, the Interview approach was not very intuitive in entering Gas/Oil well royalties in the Miscellaneous income worksheet. In particular for multiple 1099-Misc royalties to enter, references to Copy 1, 2, etc as a first time user were found to be confusing. On-going instructional language to Rental income rather than Royalty Income was somewhat troubling.
When errors were flagged in the review, appropriate correction actions were not obvious, perhaps due to the above mentioned Rental Income language versus the more appropriate Mineral Royalty language.
