I've used Block tax software for longer than I can remember, for my family and relatives. I always use the previous year's return as a starting point. I need Premium for our return, and it does fine for the others, too.

Significantly helps make tax filing easier. Some of the more complex issues (sale of property used for rental inc) were not handled totally correct, so had to make some adjustments.

Glitches prevented e-filing

I bought the premium installed package + 1 state, rather than use the online version. There were glitches with the installed software. As a resulted, I had to print my returns and incur additional costs with Fedex, instead of being able to use the included e-filing option.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
