PIN issues at the end and total lost time!

After all the steps, the PIN that we have are 6 digits and the middle of the document uses the 6 digits but at the last step is not allowing me to put the 6 digit codes. So stupid waste of time

Terrible product. Did not allow for QBI information from PTP K-1 forms, which is a basic item for many people. The software kept telling me that I would be required to wait for a future update when this feature would become available, but it took weeks and weeks of updates until the feature was added at the last minute. Disaster.
That was my experience, and many people don't have this issue. But if a tax software could be so deficient about something as basic as this, then it's hard to have any sort of confidence that it's not equally lacking in many other areas as well.
All that said, I'm not sure I won't buy it again next year. TurboTax is a far superior product, but TurboTax requires Windows 11 OS to run, which my laptops don't currently have.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been using this software on my MacBook pro for several years. It may be the only brand that makes the premium version with advance business features for Mac. It is easy to use and I am happy with the results.

Issues with handling public company partnerships

It imported E*Trade ProShares transactions that were not disclosed by E*Trade to the IRS as regular transactions without a basis. This caused my hours of grief and frustration as I tried to understand what had happened. What should have happened is that all those transactions for ProShares BOIL, KOLD, and VIX should have been ignored with a warning to the user that these transactions were considered by the IRS to be a partnership K1/K3 transactions. This frustration and anonymous warnings about the software being unable to handle this situation causes much doubt as to the reliability of the software. I purchased the Elite Edition
