I have been using H&R Block Premium Tax Software for over 15 years, including throughout 2025, and it has consistently been a reliable and accurate tool for my tax preparation needs. I truly value the software’s ease of use and the confidence it provides in ensuring my returns are completed correctly.
Based on my long-term positive experience, I fully intend to continue purchasing and using it in the years ahead.
One suggestion for improvement would be to include at least one free state tax submission. This could potentially be balanced by reducing the number of free federal submissions from five to three, for example. I believe this adjustment would enhance overall value for long-time users while maintaining the product’s strong core offering.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents

The worst! Now needing to pay for amending returns

Horrible beyond belief. I am now required to pay for accountant to correct HR Block errors and file amended returns for 2025.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Have used your Tax software for over 20 years and still find it easy to use. It would be helpful if the user could print the summary screens after each major topic such as the Summary screens for "Taxable Income", "Adjustments to Income", "Deductions", "Taxes, Penalties, and Payments", Tax Summary", "Massachusetts Credits", "Massachusetts Taxes, Payments, and Penalties", Massachusetts Income", and "E-File Your Returns screen".
