There is no need to fill out schedules or worksheets if they are totally unrelated to your return, below an income threshold. Just cause it’s total confusion, especially if you try Assigned to correct errors in them when there’s no data to put in them because Recommend they don’t even apply!! Freaking nightmare.

I have used this for several years. I have been very happy with it until this year. I had trouble finding items that I have used each year. Final verification requested several corrections that I fought for some time as I tried to make the corrections. The software was not taking the corrections. I finally prevailed!

Lots more glitches

I need to switch to TurboTax. It seems each year there are more and more glitches in carrying data through the forms that require manual correction. Add to their system going belly up on tax day a couple years ago with no support or follow up.....
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

I’ve used H&R Block tax software for years. It works well. This time when e-filing my fed and state, the fed rejected. The message on screen said that the state return was on hold until the fed is accepted. Not true. I corrected the issue on my fed and filed it. The state return was dropped and was not filed. Had I not dug in, I would have missed filing my state tax return.
