I have been using H&R Block Tax Software for the last 5 yrs. This year, I finished Fed + State in one day. I love it.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

It was disappointing this year. I have bought H&R for the last ten years but I might switch next year. The program wasn't usable for several months because it was displaying incorrectly (using Windows 11). Eventually after several H&R software updates, the program was usable.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

HRBlock Business Would Not Import Previous Year

I could not import last year's data into the Business program, and called tech support. While waiting for a return call from a technician, I re-entered all data that would not import (this was a major inconvenience). Once I received a return call from the tech, she told me how to work around this problem if it surfaces next year. I would have expected the import to happen normally vice a wordaround.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my 2nd year to use this software. It’s a good value for the cost. I have difficulty clearing the diagnostics, because it is often not clear what the problem is. It is totally inflexible when trying to prepare federal estimates, but fairly easy to prepare state estimates.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Time consuming
