You really should have an option to have Password Protection. If Facebook requires a password certainly you should. It does not ask me for my password when I log on to my computer and select it to open. BAD BAD BAD!!!
I HAD A DIFFICULT TIME FINISHING - MISUNDERSTOOD SOME OF THE ISSUES, BUT I WAS FILING LATE AND UNDER PRESSURE TO FINISH - BUSY BUSINESS AND PESONAL YEAR THOUGH. WANTED TO FINISH MUCH EARLIER. HOPING NEXT YEAR WILL BE SOONER AND NO AUDIT I HOPE.
As in previous versions, not all the nuances associated with self-employment can be covered. So between my state version and the federal version there were some manual calculations and changes needed. Did I get my maximum benefits from the state and federal program. Not sure, but was satisfied enough with the final number I came up with.
I filed in October, having submitted a Federal Extension of Time to File back in April. Using the HR Block Premium to also complete my state return, it said that I needed to file by paper. I did that. But it never let me know that I needed to attach a copy of my Federal Extension of Time to File. Now I seem to be likely to get some nasty notice from the State, and possibly a fine, for filing late.
Everything worked pretty well. There was one software issue. The box that indicates that we combined 1031 properties filled itself in a few times when we 'saved' and this prevented an e filing. After I unchecked the box for the 3rd (or 4th) time, this problem went away. Also some of the wording in the instructions was a bit ambiguous (but a lot of this is the fault of the IRS which has definitions that are not completely intuitive).
