I have been using H&R Block tax software for the last 10 years. This year I ran into a problem trying to E-file. Said I needed to update software. Would allow me to download the update but would not install.
Spent one hour on the phone with the help center and the most patient woman you could ever talk to. Problem solved and package uploaded to IRS. Will use again next year.

I have been using this program for the last 10 years. i only gave it 3 stars because the program would save changes even though when i tell not to save (automatically saving feature is off). due to the issue i had to create 5 versions of my tax returns. I also recommend to add back button to undo things on the fly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Make sure you do not make any mistakes when entering information. The program will NOT let you make any corrections to your state form, and will charge you to efile your state return, but will not actually file your state return. You have to print and file your state return via snail mail, even though you PAID to efile it.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Seems moderately easy to fill out but some questions can be left hanging. On line helps sometimes cannot provide answers to the specific areas being sought.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
