HRBlock software is constantly and chronically updated, and I was unable to boot a WIndows 11 computer after shutting down in the aftermath of "hung" HRBlock and Windows System updates. Recovering the computer took much of a days time of prepare a Windows 11 Recovery USB drive and to clean up the system to make it bootable again. In the aftermath, I had lost my Wisconsin State Tax return but reentered it manually from my printed return. But HRBlock is now in a Doom Loop, where whenever I open my return, it shows I owe State of Wisconsin $3900, which reverts to a $239 refund when I start to "click through" the state tab, but I have to reenter that I am applying all of this $239 refund to my 2026 Wisconsin income tax. I e-filed in this recovered state and hoping that Wisconsin doesn't demand $3900 in payment, but on saving the corrected return, opening it again brings it back into this state, and the Copilot AI after recommending all possible recover actions is recommending that for my records, I reenter the entire Federal and State interviews from my printout after reinstalling HRBlock.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Could not take my nonresident California NEC 592-B income, so the California software that I purchased was useless and a waste of money for me. I was disappointed with the nonresident state software this year, it was not as simple to complete as in years past. I will be switching to Turbo Tax next year.

I have been using the program for years and never been disappointed. Program is very easy to use and if you get stuck the help features are great. I would recommend this program to anyone that asks for a tax program.

I have used H&R Block business for years. It has been increasingly user friendly always remembering my prior years return pretty much automatically' giving me a great blueprint to work from. It simply never messes up on me. Wouldn't want to do my taxes without it.

I had my taxes completed beginning of February, but I could not submit them until the Depreciation segment was "fixed". TaxCut kept saying the next update would fix the issue. But the next update said the same thing. It took over 4 weeks to finally get a correction in the Depreciation section so I could submit the forms. I've used TaxCut since around 1990 and have never been disappointed like this until this year.

I buy your tax software because it is a consistently good product. There were a few times I had to review the additional info your program provides to understand the form questions. Overall, it was easy to complete & file. (I absolutely HATE doing income tax. It stresses me out to the max because I am on a limited income and I never know if I have to pay tax.) I did have an oops though. When ordering online, there was a window that offered $10 discount for repeat customers. It came up when I was I was pushing the button to purchase, and it was too late to get the discount. I would be so appreciative if I could get the $10 discount. Keep up the good programming. Thank you.
