Piece of crap program. Imports not working for 1099 b after several attempts. Had manually enter over 500 stock trades. Will use it again or refer anyone..
Cons: Hard to import documents

I've used H&R Block for many, many years. It works, but... it has not evolved with the times from an interface perspective. It is still the same interface, there is no AI help, and it lacks polish that I would expect from modern software. I trust the calculations, but when the interface looks like it's from 2008 (not kidding), you might want to invest in improvements.

I usually have great accurate taxes with H &R Block however this year the software kept changing the Box 1 amount when I would advance forward through the software. I would only notice it because the amount of federal I would get back would increase a lot. So I would go back and double check the amounts in the W2 areas and my Box 1 would be less than what I put in. I had to go back 7 times to fix it. It was very annoying and appropriate. I tried to call to report it but the wait time was too long.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Highly recommend H&R Block software. I had a lot of medical and donations to claim and I was able to complete my tax filing quickly and accurately with no problems. Also had a seamless transition from Federal to State tax filing quickly very convenient!

I switched from TurboTax due to the fact I cannot install TurboTax on a drive other than my main C drive where I have no room to install. I used Taxcut in the past and it was a bit more professional than TurboTax.
