Software is laid out logically and captures all deductions. The only improvement I’d suggest is to have an easier way to travel to an exact spot. For Example I get a 1098T, I’d like a way to type or check off 1098t somewhere at the beginning where it will take me to where it gets entered.

I have been using H&R Block software for many years. I find it to be very comprehensive. I Find it easy to understand, but my background in business and accounting may account for some of my grasp of that understanding. There are, however, abilities to access help through the software for those who lack some knowledge. I cannot comment on those additional services that are available, since I have not had the need to use them.
Pros: Easy to prepare

I have had an open case since late December and it is still not resolved, I am spent hours with every level of HR Block support and am still waiting. Software cannot run on my desktop (but does on laptop).
Last call was over a month ago - they said they would research and get back.

Confusing, unclear instructions especially on IRA distributions led to errors and incorrect tax calculations. Key questions on IRS PIN numbers were buried amongst less important inputs and poorly worded and this led to the federal return being rejected and state return being placed on hold.
