When I purchased the product, it said it included 5 federal e-files but you had to pay for each state e-file. No where did it say you could only do 5 federal e-files. In fact when you do a federal e-file the screen give the option to enter the code for the included e-file or you can choose to pay with credit card for the e-file. Wouldn't you think that once you have used the 5 included that you could still e-file by paying with credit card? But no, you are locked out of any more federal e-files for ever. No where is that stated, nor are you given an info on possible options if any, such as buying another copy and using its codes or installing another copy of the program and using it on the same computer. Nor do they offer a copy of the program that offers more than 5 e-files, say maybe 10 or whatever.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am a fan of this software. The Load last year future is great. The instructions are helpful. Two areas of improvement that would make the experience even better. The Capital sales input isn't intuitive. Kept on getting diagnostics when trying to put in individual sales. Had to group it by broker to avoid this. This wasn't my preferred method. For the first time, I wasn't allowed to file my Massachusetts 1-NR return via e-file. There was a message when Line A exceeds 14f by 10%, e-file is disallowed. Certain professional tax software that CPA firms would use, allows you to enter an explanation to allow e-file. In my case the reason for exceeding the 10% was because of non-taxable social security for Massachusetts. Maybe this can be fixed for next year.
