I’ve been using HR Block tax software for the last 15years and haven’t had any issues or problems. Their software is easy to install and use. One of the best features for investors or stock traders is the program will link-in with your brokerage accounts and upload the necessary information and documents saving you hours of tedious paperwork requirements. The programs audit risk scan is great too it will alert you to potential problems or mistakes you may have made. I don’t worry about being audited by the IRS because the software is solid.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I love the program but I notice this year the improvement, the update is less than previous years. For example there was an attachment workshop that showed it was going to be attached to the filing and could not get any information such as why it needed to be attached as no data was on it.

Too many areas where I had to do research. The final review found issues with zero suggestions to resolve. In some instances, it pointed out a data review issue, without explaining what the issue was, or how to resolve it. In other data review issues. It referenced a field on another form. Why didn't the program move the data? Disappointed best represents how i feel
