Program has one flaw: it fails to tell you how to attach the Safe Harbor Statement. This has been a problem for years. I’ve called the company and they said they would try to fix it; but, the problem still exists. Bottom line is that you will need to mail the document after e-filing the tax return.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

This version was a little more confusing than years past. I would like to see on the Sched C the automobile info saved from last year. The explanations on the 1099-R section were way to vague and not geared for mere mortals. I am not really confident in what I submitted to the IRS...

0verall very easy to use. I did find one bug on a form and reported it. Unfortunately I never heard back as to any action to correct this form and it was not fixed in the two updates since I reported it. The bug did not change the dollar amounts on the tax return but it did fill out one form incorrectly. I ended up filing anyway and hope to not hear back from the IRS.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Overall a good product. I have used for many years and generally happy with final outcomes. However, there are still some gaps where the interview simply refers me to an instruction sheet or other not-to-helpful outside sources. Taxcut needs to fix this!
