I have used them for years, and I like how their computer program covers all of the bases. It makes sure I do nothing wrong while looking for ways to save me money.
The only reason I did not give five stars is because it said North Carolina would not accept e-filing. I have since found out that at least four other people submitted their NC tax returns by e-filing.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

I have used H & R Block for about 8 years. I have found it to be very helpful in preparing my tax returns. You don't miss information you need to have to file. I would like to see more access to the analyze process. I didn't think it was readily available this year. The process of updating from last year to this year went smoothly. I did find it difficult to change versions. I want a Deluxe + State version instead of the Premium. I had trouble making the transition. I will buy it again next year.

The programs quality have gone down year over year. Especially when doing multiple state interviews. What is point of asking me how much of my tax free income on 1009 Div is taxable in my residential state if you are just going to make me calculate and enter my myself in the ohio state program. The planning portion is nothing mor than a way for you to promote your own IRAs
