The price of the software seemed very reasonable until I realized that I needed to pay for e-filing my return. The fact that this was not apparent when I made decision to purchase H&R Premium made me feel like I had been mislead about the cost of using the product

I have used H & R Blocks tax software for many years and I recommend it to my friends. It is the most reliable way to file your taxes that leaves you with the feeling that they are complete and correct.
I had a issue this year in filing Qualified Charitable Distributions when subtracted from Required Minimum Distributions. The software consistently reported an erroneous tax penalty and it took hours on the phone with HRB and further investigations to resolve that problem. The software should make a question for QCDs available during the interview process.
