I am happy with the way it worked. But did not have a feature to depreciate my rental property upgrades!
But I am afraid that you will change the operating system next year so that it will not work with my older MAC computer. You need to have a version that will work with older computers!

This was a great product, walked me through everything I needed very clearly and helped me find some extra deductions. Easy to navigate, though the UI appeared old, it functioned quickly and was easy to navigate. Only complaint is that the functionality to link to my accounts only worked through a special company I don’t use and didn’t want to sign up for. I’d much rather just link my account through plaid like the online versions.

This works fine as long as you don't have foreign tax or a K-1 or anything other than down the middle stuff. I am not familiar with other tax products. They might be equally obtusive.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Use this program for several years. Consider it very good. There are some areas for improvement though: make software more intelligent. Such as for example I am over 62 and work - and don't take social security. Software knows it ( my W2 form etc.). However, at the end it asks me if I have any social security income since I am over 62! This is minor thing... suggesting HRblock software designers use AI.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming
