I have used this tax preparation software for years, all the way back to when it was called TaxCut. It is simply the best!! I like the way it brings last years data into your new year tax return.

The software is great. However, I first started using the online version but it had a glitch so then purchased the program to download. I had the same issue last year with the online version. Recommend purchasing the program if your taxes are a bit more complicated.

Doing your taxes online does not make the burden lighter. There is an immense amount of data to be entered including info from last year's taxes. After it is entered reviewing it for accuracy is essential because at some point there will be no going back to correct an error. It is cast in stone.
Trying to get Chat help is futile. I never understood why certain income was taxed a different way and could not get help for this matter.
Also my state allows interest from Federal government investments to be deduced as income with a special form to fill out. H & R Block did not allow this form to be filled out thus denying me a sizeable deduction. Because of this, I decided to not e-file and do my own State return even though I had paid for it.
Warning - Print out hard copies of all forms and check for accuracy.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
