the software works well but I don't like the fact that Block along with other tax prep companies lobby our government to keep a stranglehold on tax preparation. In most cases the US government has all the data needed to just send me a tax report/bill/refund. other countries do this but in the US we have to allow private businesses to fleece US citizens for profit.

Had several glitches in the software. I finished the Federal with the premium edition and it tried to sell me the State which was supposed to be free. Called support and had to download another copy. Finished State and e-filed. Federal was accepted but State was rejected. Turns out I signed with driver’s license numbers. Did not realize that you were not supposed to use hyphens and the software accepted them anyway and cut off the last two digits of the number. When I realized what was going on I corrected the numbers. I then had to change the filing date and had problems because I used hyphens. No where in directions could I find instruction to not us - or /. I then tried to enter the filing date for my wife. Why you need the date twice is a puzzle. When you file jointly you and your wife file at the same time. Anyway, every time I typed a key to changing her filing date I got an error message. Called support and ended up ended up backing up and signing with our AGI instead of the DL numbers. Stiles and it was accepted. My experience with support in both cases was excellent. I am long time Turbo Tax user and found this software to not be as user friendly. I bought it because this year Turbo Tax requires Mac OS 13. My computer will not go above 12.
I would recommend this to a friend!
