I am very happy with the software itself: it is easy to use, easy to upload required documents, and easy to catch errors or parts that weren't populated properly. However, I am displeased at the hidden fee for filing for a state. I would like for this to be made more clear next year.

I have mixed feelings about the software. It had many features that were great: downloading 1099's; not requiring listing every single qualified donation and just asking for a total. However, when trying to find specific items where double checking what you did or looking for things you think you missed it was very difficult. You can't do a search on a word (I needed to find CHET in the CT return), it doesn't work. to find something you need to be very specific and you have to know where it is. You have to know which form and work from that. Even then, you could have a problem. Very frustrating.

Cons: Time consuming

Your IT department needs to rewrite the software such that when i open a new return this year, it populates with last year information including NOL last year that needs to be carried forward.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents

This a good software package. Would be good to have some strategy software to try and figure out how to remove some 401K dollars out of accounts in a financially sound way. Especially before the 72 age for minimum distributions that are required.
