I have used this software for the last three years and expect to use it in the future. It is very intuitive and provides helpful tools to enhance the accuracy of the return.

Software was missing MA form SC and didn’t alert me that I needed it. If I hadn’t read the MA instructions, my return would have been rejected. Then I had to print and mail instead of efiling. Implementing instructions and efiling is why I buy tax software! TurboTax has the form so I guess I’m switching next year.

Overall I continue to be happy with the software for the price. I found the IRA questions difficult to follow due to a Roth IRA recharacterization I had. Also I was disappointed Indiana form 2210A was not included in the state software.

Cons: Hard to prepare

Easy to use in terms of understanding the questions and the information you need to complete the forms. The layout and flow is user friendly and you can easily move back and forward in the program, make changes, and then the program double checks your return.
