Confusing. Navigation is terrible. It seems everytime I go back to change anything it makes me walk through all the previous steps. Finally figured out how to avoid that. The GUI looks like it's from the late 90's. I'm pretty sure it did not calculate the tax right. For testing I put in a high number as income and it still said I didn't owe any tax. I ended up printing it out and doing my taxes manually comparing the results from this software. I'll prob get a letter from the IRS soon. Nice thing is that I get +5% refund card to Amazon. A lot of the core functionality seems to be there but the software needs some serious help from a users perspective.
Pros: Easy to install
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues, Hard to prepare

All I can say is you get what you pay for. This product is cheaper than the competition and there's a reason for that. I will never use it again.

I had an issue with the home office and property tax portion of the program. Had to file an extension and was advised to change one of the forms from my mortgage company to make it work. My taxes are still under review, should get a refund since your accuracy review said all correct when it was not.

first time using product. I have used a different product for many years. Switched because yours was a better bargain. I used the Premium edition because of rental property. Here lies main issue. I found it difficult to maneuver between the different properties. If i could have see just completed the IRS form without moving back and forth through the various layers of screen. Sorry I can not explain better.

Sure, it's easy to use. Sure it would take an idiot to get it wrong. And I've used it now for several years. BUT... BUT --- I had to "efile" the Federal Return five times before it was accepted, and DO YOU KNOW WHY? Because the IRS was NOT YET ACCEPTING efiling, and good ol' HR BLOCK didn't see fit to tell that there was a date you had to wait for! I had to hear it on Fox News! So, I AM ANGRY at HRB because I have wasted my efiles and not I still have another return to file. SARCASM: GEE THANKS!
Cons: Hard to fix issues

Same old problems

I've used this software for several years, airing my complaints each time, but never seeing any improvement in these areas. First of all, I use ONE vehicle for several rental properties, but the software treats each usage as a new vehicle. Secondly, when it imports the previous year's data, the depreciation of assets is never carried over correctly as to the depreciation method used and whether or not mid-quarter convention was used. This is annoying and causes a lot of manual research.
