We have used HR Block software for years for our taxes, which include rental property, and have never experienced problems - until this year. I started my return with an early release of the software, and competed the work in early February. In looking over the forms generated, one line item on one form was obviously way off. I did a support 'chat' and was essentially told that I must have entered something wrong; but, had that been true, that amount would have appeared wrong on a related form that should show the same amount. I called support and the agent was much more engaged. We worked through several possible fixes, but nothing resolved the issue until I started the return over again. Same inputs - but no issue. The agent could not explain it - nor can I, but it took hours to re-enter everything.

Easy to use. Much better than Turbo Tax. Much cleaner and works with my Mac which Turbo Tax dropped with their software. I have a 12 core Intel Xeon MAC Pro with 64 GB of ram. They don’t support it any longer. Wasn’t happy with their explanation. Hopefully you don’t drop us the same way they did.
