I’ve been using H&R Block tax software for years. Love the program and the ability to upload stock trading information.
My reason for 4 stars is the printing of the completed tax forms. The formatting is off and the results are not legible. Please correct the print function for MAC users.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

It refers me to the IRS forms too often. If I wanted to read through the forms and instructions, I wouldn't by software. The interview process of the software needs to improve!!

I have used these programs for many years. However, the last few years I cannot claim my vehicle mileage. I have never done itemized on vehicles, only mileage and the program calculates the mileage but never adds the amount to the end amount of refund. That makes me want to change programs.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall, much happier this year than last! Last year's Premium was released without sufficient questions and allowances for QCDs!! This 1 omission required an H&RBlock "workaround" ultimately requiring mail-in of all forms and a 4 month wait for a refund. Very disappointed couldn't e-file. However, this year everything went swimmingly, as it should for such a premium price. Thank for correcting the oversight. But, still confused as to how it could happen.
I would recommend this to a friend!
