Having to complete a schedule C was unexpected. Must have been an IRS requirement. Was confused when I couldn't efile unless I filled out employer for the schedule C.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

I have used multiple products (Ultra Tax, Turbo Tax, etc.) for tax preparation. The H&R Block was less user friendly than some others. And I was surprised when I completed my state return and tried to electronically submit it and found that "the software does not support the submission of the K-1 data required". Not sure what that is about. I printed and mailed the return with all the backup. I will probably switch to a different software for 2025.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
