I wish Citibank and Wellsfargo will have a full access to the software to automatically transfer data to the HR tax software, like many other are doing.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

I am able to do my own taxes on premium. I love that I can download from previous years. However, the access to help is not as easy as previous years because of AI. I’d change to access to a person- not AI.

It is fairly easy to use, But it does not transfer all data from the previous year if you used the online version instead of the download version. So you will be entering a lot of information again. It also does not include the 2 year comparison at then end which is very useful to me. Not sure why the download version is cheaper than the online version, that is frustrating.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I worked for HRB for 16 years, so I bought the software after I retired. I used it for about ) years until I found an error in the QCD line on the 1040. I called to report the error and was told that I was wrong. So I switched to TurboTax. This year, I’m trying this software again, because I think it’s better than Ttax. I don’t have any QCD this year, so I don’t know if that is fixed.

Cons: Time consuming
