A bit pricey but easy to use

Have been using H&R Block’s tax software for several years. Always been happy with its ease of use. Had to upgrade to Premium this since i am now self employed. Granted my return is not overly complicated so it was still ease to use.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had an issue with the e file diagnostics...not allowed to e file. Morgan was patient and offered many
suggestions to solve the problem even though at the end it was unsolvable. I'm waiting for the next federal update to see is somehow the IRS has widened the parameters needed to e file. .

Error in Iowa return software for second year.

I bought the Premium individual & business edition. This is the second year that the federal was accepted and the Iowa rejected because of a federal problem. You never got it fixed last year and I had to file Iowa on paper - it was accepted with no errors. It must be a software error on HR Block end. I think I better try TurboTax next year. I've had Block prepare my returns since 1967.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

On the rental review form, it would be helpful if you included exactly where to put Condo owners Association Fees (or similar). Almost all people who provide vactation condos for rent have a significant amount of fees that need to be on the return. I almost missed where to put them and had to figure it out myself.
