The way the questions were presented was clear and made answering them straight forward, which was very helpful. But the software overall was frustrating to use. I was asked for my email address and phone number MANY times. For some strange reason the software text was blurry on my Windows 11 laptop when all other applications have crisp text. And the user interface and ways that software updates were handled very much felt like a product from the 1990s.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Digital Asset Transaction Reporting - Not good

I've been using HRB tax software for many years and have been satisfied. One thing that changed in my situation this year was that I needed to report digital asset activity. I was very disappointed to find that HRB required importing the activity through one of 2 third-party apps, and unless you have very few transactions this requires extra costs. I believe TurboTax can import the activity directly from the crypto exchanges (at least the one that I use), so next year I may switch to TurboTax.
