Charged twice for state filing

I had to resubmit my e-file for a missed identify pin which the software did not prompt me for - and I got charged again for the state. Really not right!

Switched from TT because you ran on an older OS

I've used TT for many years, and it, too, is a good program. But in recent years, they have greatly tightened up the system requirements. From W7 they demanded W10, then W11. We have several older systems that work perfectly with W10, but TT wouldn't install.
I understand the need for periodic system "improvements" but it's become a joke with many in the industry that good old Windows7 was a very secure and robust OS, and that Microsoft keeps introducing new operating systems primarily to keep revenue flowing. Please consider jumping off that train and include older OS versions in future releases. I think you will get many more defections from TT.

Generally Good, Frustrating Review

For some reason,when it came time to review for filing, I had to go through multiple rounds of re-entering such things as my address for W-2s and mortgage worksheet numbers that were already populated earlier. Every review for errors turned up a new set of errors, all of them requiring re-entry of data already entered.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Several of the questions they ask are not clear. eFiling was rejected twice but no clear reason was given and no solution was provided.

Have used Block Premium for years without a hitch. This year it failed to calculate Child and dependent care correctly - Block help was useless - couldn't not find anyone who could actually understand the problem and received only pat answers on how to fill the forms. Also calculated 199A income (from K-1) reduction incorrectly by using a loss as qualifying income - didn't attempt to resolve with Block help due to prior experience. Uncovered these issues while reviewing "for filing print-out" Verified them by reentering my info into "Intuit Proconnect" (intended for professional use). It produce results in agreement with my assessment of the Block Premium errors.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very glitchy for H&R Block. Caused a lot of frustration. Business and personal. Had items I didn't add through the interview and these were not included in my return. Had to add them through the interview process and go back and delete the forms I had added. Ran accuracy review several times until I had no errors. When I went to efile, I suddenly had 37 outstanding errors. Not happy about that. Don't get me started about the IRS assigned PIN.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!
