I have used HR Block premium software for over 10 years, it's easy to use, downloads prior years returns easily and it is reasonably priced.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

This software definitely makes doing my taxes so much easier. Occasionally I have some difficulty navigating when I need to jump back or forward a few steps, but nothing I cannot overcome. My pension is exempt from state taxes in my state, so I have to do my state first, print it out, and then do the federal. Otherwise the software would charge state tax. Once I hit a certain age, then there would be a check block I can use to bypass it thru the software.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

I worked for an HR Block franchise in Delaware for 11 years so I am very familiar with the program. It is pretty simple to use as long as the financial stuff gets entered correctly. I have never had a problem with the IRS.
