Love this Tax Software

I have been using the H&R Block tax software for over 7 years and I am very pleased with the results. It is easy to use and provides step-by-step instructions to ensure accurate entry of information. As a member of the clergy, this software also offers all the forms and instructions necessary for ministers to complete their special IRS filing requirements, such as a housing or parsonage allowance.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Very Confusing for 1st Time Contractor

I worked as a self employed contractor and this system was confusing. Assistance is offered on each section however the answers are vague and not helpful. I would not recommend spending money on this again. I would rather go to a professional for help in the future.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to fix issues, Hard to prepare

this is the second time that i cant efile. i keep getting rejection notice "due to multiple attempts" even though its the first time for this account.
Cons: Hard to fix issues

Overall pretty easy to follow. Do need some knowledge if getting into investments and rental property or reading of IRS publications.

Easy to use, guides me through everything I need and like the fact that I can ask question if need arises -- been using and will continue to use. Highly recommend it!

progam do not delete info when you delete an entry

i was checking to see if I was going to get more money if I opened an IRA account, so I put YES when asked if I wanted to open an IRA, and put $1000. since I did not get any more money back, I went there and changed the yes for a NO But did not give me the option to erase the $1000. I thought I was gone. But when I e-filed and got my copy I found out that the $1000 contributions was still there!! NOW I have to do an amended return. BAD!!
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues

Collbarative and complete when using Pro

Multiple year user. Process allows you to start and stop with ease. Asks intuitive questions. Help explains many questions as you proceed. Only challenge is when making corrections and having used auto fill from prior year.

Great Program for Self Employed!

I have been using this program for years and the self employed program is so easy to use and makes each section understandable so I can file with confidence that everything is right and audit free!! Great Job H&R Block
