At Least it Works with Older Macs

It's just okay, no bells and whistles. It would be nice if it would remember the names, and addresses and federal IDs of the previous year's 1099s (also H&R) that have to be re-entered every year. Having over a dozen of the same ones every year is unnecessarily tedious.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used H&R Block software for many years. The past two years the software told me I can file worry free and I filed fairly simple returns but the IRS held up my refunds for extended time periods for no valid reasons. Disappointed that software indicated 31 day refunds that turned into months.

Have now used HRBlock for years for my tax prep and it continues to impress me with all the scenarios it can capture for tax prep. Handles small business aspects nicely as well as investments. Definitely will continue to use it going forward. I do wish it was a little better at handling major home improvements for business use which get depreciated; while it does allow these to be entered, it does not list and spell out prior year improvement additions while it does continue to include the depreciation in the calculations; so it s hard to confirm prior depreciable improvements are still being included.
