Promises but dosn't Deliver

Disappointed in Premium Tax Software, it advertises “software support for Partnership and LLC tax Returns” but lacks clarity in transferring the data from 1065-K1 to the proper 1040 forms! It support is no different than the Deluxe version-very poor!!
Pros: Easy to install
Cons: Hard to fix issues, Hard to prepare

Unhappy with product

MN state return did not calculate deductions from Schedule A properly & was not fixed until after April 6th. 2018 Form 1040ES was not available until April 12th -- quite late for a very easy form!! Took too long to wrap up my return. Doubt that I'll use H&R Block next year.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to import
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

HR Block Software was Excellent

I've used HR Block software for at least 6 years. It always changes but I thought the 2017 software worked very well. Instructions were clear and recovery from an input error was easy.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unable to e-file

I have used Kiplinger Tax Cut/HR Block for 15 to 20 years and have always been able to e-file since that feature became available. IRS would not accept my return this year. The HR Block program did not provide any actionable information on what the errors were and how to correct.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Easy to import
Cons: Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Program wouldn't let me e-file. Kept saying to update program and I did several times.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Printing Estimated Taxes

I've used this program for awhile now, and every year I spend hours trying to print my estimated taxes. You would think this would be a simple "print estimated taxes button," but it is not, and I forget each year how I did it the last time. Here I am, just a few days prior to the due date, and searching again...

I've used this software for many years, after a single year with TurboTax. This is the first year that I've been disappointed in supporting information. I had to search IRS files for several clarifications which should have been available in the program.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to import, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!
