In the past I've been very happy with my block program. This time I made a mistake and left off a form after I filed. I went through the procedure for filing an amended return but the program has a bug. It claimed there was an error where there was not an error. I told that I had to file a paper return since it would not let me file electronically even though there was nothing wrong in my return
Cons: Time consuming

I have been using h&r block tax software for several years now. I am tinking of going to TurboTax because h&r block does not get any better over the years. No extra features or easy what if analysis. And for some of the harder questions there is very little guidance when you click on the help. But to be fair it does get the job done
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
