Rental properties like AirBnB are such a popular thing these days. Millions partake yet H&R premium could do so much better by giving clearer instructions and insight into this aspect of taxes. I would greatly appreciate a premium software with higher price tag to include much better guidance for property rentals.

Need to improve on explanations. Some terminology needs to be defined. Updates are too late. There should not be any updates after the irs starts accepting returns.

I usually find this smooth operating and easy to.use. This year I sometimes had difficulty updating because I had to block my firewall to upload. And, it wasn't uploading the return on the 15th to electronically file. But it did eventually.
Pros: Easy to prepare

I’ve been using H&R Block software for more than 10 years. It has served me well during that time, but the service outage that prevented me from submitting my return for hour was frustrating - since I owed money, I had waited as long as possible to submit.

Spent most of my day waiting for services to work
on May 9, 2024

Tried filing my taxes the night before they were due, but the system was having communication issues that lasted over 12 hours, well into the afternoon of the day taxes were due meaning I essentially had to keep coming back every hour all day long to to see if I was able to be able to use the software for what we bought it for.
Cons: Time consuming
