Great disappointment. I have been using the original version of this program, Taxcut, since Andrew Tobias first published it in the 1980s. This Premium+efile+state version was the worst I have ever experienced. The Schedule E could not allocate expenses between private and business use. The Help was hopeless. I kept getting disconnected. Gave up and did the work manually. Finally got a call on April 16 from someone who said they could help. I had, of course already filed. Hopeless. I will not use this product again.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I buy this software every year and it is staightforward to work with. I am satisfied with it. I wish it was a little cheaer for me given that I buy it each year or the state portion should be free if possible.

We have used H&R Block Tax software for over 20 years now and it has been a great means of completing and submitting our taxes each and every year. Only improvement I can request is that where multiple federal tax returns can be used with a purchase- at a good price - Is that multiple state returns also be included at that same price.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents

I have used H&R Block software for close to 20 years. The software transmission issue on Sunday before the taxes where due into Monday caused me to have to print out everything and mail my returns to the IRS and the State.
Just an awful experience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
