Prior to submitting the state (IL) tax forms, the review stated it had no issues, so iI submitted the forms electronically only to have it rejected. The fed forms were accepted the first time they were submitted. Upon further examination, IL requires a declaration of out of state purchases, calculated on the federal income statement, and payment of the out of state purchase taxes.

I have been using this software since the days it was known as TaxCut.. I'm not rich, but there is no way I could do my taxes with paper forms. The Premium version takes care of all our regular and investment income with ease.

It was easy, but they charge for state filing, they charged me twice and I still haven't been reimbursed. The wait time is hours to talk to someone. They also had a data breach.

I’ve used other tax software as a volunteer. Using the block software I missed the EIC for a family member. There should be some type of warning to review the EIC option.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
