-Federal and MA forms weren’t finalized until the end of March. That’s far too late.
-Software failed to recognize previous year’s capital loss carryover.
-A number of 2023 estimated tax deadlines were later than the 15th of the month; software failed to recognize that and reported those payments in the following quarter.
I’ve used this software for a number of years and have been happy with it. I don’t know if I’ll find it, but I’ll be looking for something better for 2024. May still wind up with H&RB, but don’t bet on it.

I used the product for the 2023 tax year but while it populated the federal schedules automatically, I had to manually create some of them for the state (Georgia). Clunky for small businesses and the help for solo 401k reporting was inadequate.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

I have bought HR tax for years and had more problems with this year by far. The product code was prepopulated as prior year but this year it was the wrong code, I had to go back and find email to enter correct code. Leave unpopulated if that is going to be the case, not populated with incorrect code.
