Mostly great and easy to use. There was one issue that had to be fixed before I could file. The information on what or why was rather cryptic, and I had to search for what was needed. I was able to find what was needed, but I would have thought there would be a better explanation of what was required. Other than that I’ve been using the software for years with very few problems.

EV credit form not available, return with late filing penalty not available, form with newly introduced credit not available. What good a software if it doesn't have some of the basic things. It kept saying federal is not filed when it was. Then I couldn't e file state return, had to mail it. Disaster software. Sad part is it used to be good and worked well.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It was very easy to use, especially after using it for the first time last year.I like that it gives prompts based on the previous year's return. The cost is reasonable, especially if you catch an early-season online sale. The only problem I had was the "help" topics stopped working for awhile - said I didn't have internet access - but that was not true. Regarding "accuracy" and "maximize refund," I have no way of knowing, do I? Just have to trust the software just like a tax preparer.
