The software is fine and I have been using it for years, however I have to file in several states and it gets pricey. Extra charges for the state software and then extra charges to file each state

This software walked me through all my tax issues. I had to find my paperwork and when I didn't know what to do I chatted with someone. I was able to fill out the rest of it.

This years version was far too slow to finalize the forms, particularly for electric car credits. I had to wait many weeks, coming back for update after update, to finally get the forms finalized for filling.

My whole family uses H&R Block tax software. It covers simple returns, to complex rental property returns through an easy interview method. This software imports financial data from brokers, and fills out the appropriate forms automatically. I wouldn’t use any other tax preparation software.
