It started over the weekend and last though mid day on 4/15.... your system crashed... no returns could be submited... your communicaiton was poor... you told your customer to mail in their return when they paid for your services...
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

I HAVE USED THIS PROGRAM FOR YEARS AND HAVE ENJOYED IT. THIS YEAR ON TAX DAY I COULD NOT USE THE PROGRAM TO E-FILE AS THE SYSTEM WAS DOWN. THIS ADDED TO MY COST OF DOING TAXES AND THE FRUSTRATION OF HAVING TO PRINT AND MAIL.

I tried to file on the night of 4/14. Apparently, there was a server error. I tried several times. and the error message said try later. At some point it accepted the return but the program never indicated it was accepted. A notification email came back at some point and indicated that it was sent to the IRS and it was accepted. The program would not update or provide a method to check filing. It stated it was printed for filing but not providing an indication that it was electronically filed. I assume the return was filed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The H&R Block desktop software did not work on 4/19 8PM - 4/20 3PM. During this timeframe, the company provided little to no communication or support, even going as far as stating the software did not guarantee the ability to file returns. I had to file multiple extensions and spend my work hours stressing about penalties and late fees.

Tried to file taxes more than one day before deadline but was unable to do so because of bad gateway error. Issue was finally resolved after making 20+ attempts to efile. Never had this issue come up after using the software for more than 10 years!
